On behalf of the Richmond Tennis Association and its board of directors, thank you for joining us at the RTA Fundraising Golf Tournament presented by TowneBank. We had great weather and impressive scores to take home bragging rights—congratulations to Team Hermitage for finishing first with a 55, the Truist team for second with a 56, and the Usher Insurance team for third with a 57.

There are plenty of places for you all to be on a Monday—we are immensely thankful you chose to spend it with us to keep the Rising Stars Academy growing alongside our other structured pathways for junior tennis and life success. The Richmond tennis community is very special and at the RTA we’re excited about supporting the growth and love of the sport in our region.

Congratulations to all who took home one of the ticket and silent auction items. And none of it would have been possible without the RTA committee led by Tom Ager who worked to get this off the ground alongside the efforts of Maria Sorkin, Denise Shafer, Mike and Dan at Salisbury, and yesterday’s volunteers Nathalie Stephens, Denise Shafer, and Rosita Torres. Amazing team effort by all involved!
