2026 Richmond Junior Tennis Circuit
EVENTS
The singles events will be:
- Coed 10s Orange Ball
- Coed 10s Green Dot Ball
- Boys & Girls 12s Regular Ball
- Boys & Girls 14s Regular Ball
- Boys & Girls 16s Regular Ball *Only at The Dominion Club, Burkwood, Midlothian Tennis Club, ACAC, & Hermitage CC
(Minimum of 4 players to hold an event. If a draw has less than 4, players may be moved, or divisions may be combined to make a draw.)
*Note: In keeping with USTA regulations, all draws will only be round robins so there will be no winners of the divisions as we must break up divisions to get all players at least 3 matches. This is the same as we’ve done in the past as we are trying to promote play and make sure the timing of the events goes smoothly.
SCORING FORMAT
All divisions will play one set to 5 using no-add scoring with no tiebreaker. First one to 5winning by one game.
AGE ELIGIBILITY
The age division you play in is determined by the age you will be at the end of the month of any given tournament. Ex./ If the junior is 10 years old, but turns 11on June 28th, he/she must play in the 12 and under age division starting with tournaments June 5th. The events count for Net Generation PlayTracker credit for 10&Under players. Green and Yellow ball divisions also count for players’ World Tennis Number (WTN) ratings.
