2025 RTA TowneBank Charity Golf Classic

to support & grow junior tennis across RVA

Monday, April 28, was a great day for golf and junior tennis in Richmond.

The 2025 RTA Charity Golf Classic presented by TowneBank brought together local tennis and golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and generous sponsors for a day of fun, fellowship, and fundraising. Participants enjoyed a full day of golf, friendly competition, raffles, and a post-tournament reception, with all proceeds going toward expanding access to tennis for youth in underserved communities. The event highlighted the RTA’s commitment to developing young athletes, promoting physical activity, and fostering lifelong skills through the sport of tennis.

The RTA extends heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors, volunteers, board members, and participants who made the event a meaningful success.

I’ve been looking out my rainy window the last two days and thinking, “I’m sure glad we played golf on the 28th.”

Thanks to all of you for making it such a successful RTA Charity Golf Classic. We exceeded our goal to feed RTA’s mission to bring our sport to much-needed RVA neighborhoods. Could not have done it without you.
